ROLE DESCRIPTION

Solvares Field Service is hiring a Senior Solutions Consultant who will work with customers to implement new solutions and ensure they achieve maximum benefit and satisfaction with their choice of intelligent software. This requires business analysis and customer liaison skills together with technical ability and understanding of field service processes.

With training in Solvares technology, including flagship products VISITOUR and MOBILE FLOW, the Senior Solutions Consultant role responsibilities include:
  • The Senior Solutions Consultant is accountable for end to end delivery, including project governance, while also collaborating within a wider team to support the successful execution of large and complex projects.
  • Liaise with clients to analyse business processes, clarify requirements and determine the scope of required solution.
  • Analyse data to identify problem areas and propose system configuration or process changes to overcome them.
  • Present overall solution designs and workshops to a technical and non-technical audience.
  • Guide the customer and integration partners on use of web services as applicable.
  • Provide effective handover to Solvares Customer Success and Support representatives.
  • Deliver all consultancy work in a timely manner, to scope and within budget, while keeping internal and external parties updated with progress.
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations for meeting objectives with your business knowledge, skills and professionalism.
  • Provide support and technical guidance during the pre-sales phases that could include:
    – Collaboration in customer-facing discovery meetings, preparing and delivering tailored system demonstration.
    – Assisting with RFP responses.
    – Conducting benchmark and ‘What-If’ scenario testing with customer data.
    – Deploy and manage system trials for potential clients.

This role is home working and therefore your location is flexible, provided you have good travel connections. There is a high degree of interaction with colleagues with meet up sessions/workshops. Product training will be provided in the UK and Germany.

Experience, Expertise and Personal Attributes Required

  • Proven business analysis and software implementation skills with minimum 4 years experience, ideally to include field service management or scheduling/dispatch/mobile related solutions, working for either a vendor or a field service organisation.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, analytical skills and effective time management are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to articulate concisely with enthusiasm and clarity.
  • Quickly establishes credibility, trust and rapport with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Takes personal responsibility, with a flexible “can do, will do, whatever it takes” attitude.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in IT, a mathematical or science subject.
  • Must be an existing resident in the UK with a “Right to work” and hold a full valid driving licence and passport

Technical Skills Required

  • Competent with SQL and relational databases
  • Good understanding of Web Services
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
